What is "UniversiTest"?
UniversiTest is a secure online exam platform that empowers educators and institutions to create, proctor, and evaluate high-stakes exams and digital tests with data integrity.
Do I need to download any software to use the platform?
No, UniversiTest is entirely web-based. All you need is a device with internet access and a modern web browser (such as Chrome, Firefox, or Safari).
For Instructors
How can I prepare the content for my exam?
To begin, you need to create a "Test" as your exam template. Click the "Draft New Test" button on your Dashboard, set the title and duration, and click "Draft Test & Add Questions." Once the container is created, you can enter it to add, edit, or import your exam questions.
How do I start a live exam session and share it with students?
Once your test and questions are ready, go to your Dashboard and launch a live session by clicking the "Start Exam" icon (green arrow). The platform will generate a unique 6-digit Access Code. Simply share this code with your students so they can join via the Student Portal.
For Students (Participants)
Do I need to register to take an exam?
No, students (participants/candidates) are not required to register. All you need is the 6-digit access code provided by your instructor and your full name to join a live session.
What happens if my internet connection is lost during the exam?
UniversiTest automatically saves your progress. Even if your connection is lost, you can continue working. Once your connection is restored, your answers will be synchronized with our servers automatically.

What is the difference between the Free and Premium plans?
The Free plan allows you to test the basic features of the platform. Premium plans offer advanced tools, including higher participant limits, more exam slots, and AI-powered question generation. You can see a detailed comparison on our Pricing page.
Can I get a refund if I change my mind after payment?

What are AI credits and how do they work?
AI credits are a specialized resource included in Premium+ and AI Mentor plans. You can use these credits to have our AI assistant automatically generate exam questions or assist you with other academic tasks. Each request consumes a specific amount of credits based on complexity.
